I’m going to kick off this post by sharing Chelsea and Sam’s Mt. Hood, Oregon Elopement Video – because there’s no better way to warm up into a good read than by watching a mini highlight film. Just to get you in the mood, you know? 😉
PS: this is just the mini film, you can watch their full 22+ minute highlight film here.
Often times, couples book their elopement photographer and just say “eh we don’t need a video” and move on… well, I’m here to explain why you NEED an Oregon Elopement Video. (Or, you know, wherever you’re getting married. It’s doesn’t have to be Oregon – that just happens to be my specialty and where I live in Portland, OR!)
Photos are great. They are so important. I’m also an elopement photographer, so I get it. It’s a MUST. But I’d like to campaign to reframe the mindset that video is any less essential!
An Elopement Video adds a few things to your weddings time capsule that photography just can’t such as:
Some folks feel like a digital film is too *extra* and don’t feel like it fits their personality to have a 4K video of their elopement. Guess what? You can also get just a super8 video. Check out my blog post on Digital Vs. Super8 videography to find out what’s right for you!
Long story short, no matter what kind of Oregon Elopement Video you book… you’re going to want to book a videographer. And guess what!? I happen to be an Oregon Wedding Videgrapher! I just hope I’m available on your date… contact me to find out!
xoxo,
